Our keynote speaker, Roberts Idelsons, Chairman of the Management Board at Signet Bank AS, will address the topic Challenges and opportunities of investing in the Baltic capital markets vis a vis other alternatives, offering fresh perspectives and actionable insights.

Roberts Idelsons - Keynote Speaker

Roberts holds a Master’s degree from the University of Latvia Faculty of Economics. Roberts began his career with the Riga Stock Exchange in 1995. From 2003 till 2010, he chaired the Board of Citadele Asset Management, and headed Citadele banka’s Private Capital Management Directorate to take part in the restructuring of Parex Banka and building up Citadele banka as a result. Beyond that, Roberts chaired the Board of Directors at Switzerland’s AP Anlage & Privatbank AG.
He has been Chairman of the Board at Signet Bank since 2013.

Evita Lune - Session Lead

Evita Lune is an Equity Partner and Global Head of the FinTech Practice Group at Pedersen & Partners. She has completed over 250 senior-level FinTech assignments in 42+ countries, out of a total portfolio of more than 800 assignments.
Ms. Lune’s previous experience includes roles with the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga as Executive MBA Program Director, six years with Shell in international marketing functions across Riga, Budapest, and Brussels, as well as being a private entrepreneur.
She holds a PhD in Social Economy and speaks fluent Latvian, English, and Russian, with passive fluency in German, Swedish, and Polish.
