David Mashuri of Pedersen & Partners has been promoted to Principal, Head of Central Asia


Almaty, Kazakhstan - David Mashuri, Country Manager for Kazakhstan at Pedersen & Partners, has been appointed Principal, Head of Central Asia. In his new role Mashuri will be responsible for client relationship management and execution of senior level recruitment assignments across Central Asia. He will also have management responsibility for Pedersen & Partners offices in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Mongolia.

Before his promotion, David Mashuri has been Country Manager for Kazakhstan since 2008, and has conducted Executive Search assignments for clients in the Natural Resources, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, Financial Services and Telecommunication sectors in Central Asia; he also wrote articles on leadership trends in Kazakhstan and worked on pan regional projects across all industries in Central and Eastern Europe.

David Mashuri holds a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Pepperdine University in Malibu, USA and a Bachelor's Degree in Linguistics from the People's Friendship University in Moscow, Russia. In addition to his native Uighur, he speaks fluent English and Russian and can converse in Arabic and Kazakh languages.
