Pedersen & Partners expands its Baltics and Nordics team and appoints Avo Kaasik as Principal
June 2, 2025 – Tallinn, Estonia – Pedersen & Partners, a leading global Executive Search and Leadership Consulting firm with 56 wholly owned offices in 50 countries, is pleased to announce Avo Kaasik’s appointment as Principal - Baltics and Nordics in Estonia, reinforcing the firm’s strong position in the region.
Mr. Kaasik has over 20 years of experience across Private Investment, Financial Services and Executive Search and has worked extensively with clients in a variety of industries and niche sectors, supporting investors, entrepreneurs, and leadership teams with growth, succession, and transformation initiatives.
Mr. Kaasik brings significant hands-on experience in cross-border M&A transactions across the wider Baltics and Nordics region. He has held senior roles at Nordic investment firms with a strong acquisition focus, where he led deal sourcing, ownership transitions, managed transaction processes, supported integration, and advised on leadership appointments. As Co-founder and Managing Partner of a regional executive search firm and owner of a consulting business, he led C-level search mandates, advised on management buyout (MBO) projects, and provided strategic advisory services related to M&A.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Kaasik co-founded and managed a regional investment firm with operations in Estonia and Latvia, overseeing capital raising and portfolio development. He also held leadership roles in executive search and corporate finance, and was the most successful Partner at a global executive search firm in Estonia.
Mr. Kaasik also serves as Chairman and Member of the Supervisory Board for several companies in the environmental services, manufacturing, and technology sectors.
Mr. Kaasik holds an MBA from the University of Tartu and is an alumnus of the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga—a foundation marked by strong work ethic, Western educational standards, and exceptional intellectual calibre.
