The CEO of Signet Bank Roberts Idelsons was our distinguished speaker yesterday at Riga Board Room Lunch, series of events co-organized by the best business school in the Baltics Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola - Stockholm School of Economics in Riga and our firm Pedersen & Partners.
The theme of his speech was "Challenges and Opportunities of Investing in Baltic Capital Markets vis a vis Other Options".
To me as a Head of FinTech Practice Group, it was particularly relevant from two aspects: financing via stocks and bonds is an important source of funds and growth facilitator for many of my FinTech clients.
Also, modern online brokers and wealth tech companies are offering stocks, bonds, indexes, other ETF instruments as their products and key differentiators.
