Dumitru Gushan is a Client Partner and the Head of the Technology & Digital Practice for the Middle East and Africa at Pedersen & Partners, focusing on team development and spearheading business growth initiatives. Additionally, Mr. Gushan is a core team member of the Global FinTech Practice, specialising in executive leadership placements for neobanks, payment service providers, platform-based businesses, and enabling technology firms.
Since joining Pedersen & Partners in 2013 and starting his Executive Search career, Dumitru has successfully completed over 300 senior-level searches across EMEA. His portfolio includes C-level and executive leadership mandates spanning various industries, with a primary focus on FinTech, Technology & Digital and Financial Services.
Dumitru is committed to fostering long-term partnerships with clients, helping them build strategic leadership teams that blend industry-disruptive approaches with proven management expertise.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philology from the State University of Moldova and a Master’s degree in Finance & Banking Administration from the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova. Besides his native Romanian, Dumitru is fluent in English and Russian.
