Fion Yau is a Senior Research Consultant at Pedersen & Partners, based in Hong Kong, China. Ms. Yau brings more than 15 years of experience in Executive Search and Recruitment in the Asia Pacific region with a critical focus on high growth and emerging markets. Early in her search career, she gained comprehensive exposure from the two global retained executive search and leadership consulting firms. She worked on CEO and C-Suite-level (CFO, COO and Country Head mainly) and highly confidential leadership roles and placed valuable candidates to clients across Technology & Digital, Consumer & Retail, and Asset Management Practices.
Before joining Pedersen & Partners, Ms. Yau was a Client Partner and Head of Research with regional recruitment and search firms, committed to assisting European- and US-based companies with expansion plans in Asia Pacific regions, especially in China. She helped conduct full market mapping and offered specialized talent-related services to business leaders to drive transformation, revenue, and sustainability.
Ms. Yau holds an MA in English for the Professions from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in China and a BFA in Accounting and Auditing from the University of New England in Australia. She is fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese).
