Linards Širmahers is the FinTech Practice Group Program Manager at Pedersen & Partners, based in Riga, Latvia. Since he joined the firm in 2023 he has supported 20+ executive search assignments across the FinTech and Financial Services sectors. He works across the firm’s international network to identify and assess senior leaders, delivering structured insights on candidate and company landscapes, supporting the development of talent pipelines, market mapping, and benchmarking analyses.
Linards has contributed to searches for a wide range of C-level and other senior leadership roles across the FinTech sector, with a focus on Payments, Digital Banking, Lending, WealthTech, and Digital Assets.
In addition to his core responsibilities, Linards supports business development efforts for the FinTech Practice Group across the FinTech and Private Equity & Venture Capital landscape. He also focuses on identifying relevant introductions and potential investment targets for clients.
Prior to joining Pedersen & Partners, Linards gained experience in international, client-facing roles. He worked as a Sales Consultant at Zegna, focusing on customer engagement and sales performance, and spent time in Japan as an International Model and Assistant at Sage Management, gaining cross-cultural exposure. Earlier in his career, he held an Administrative Assistant role at Apartamenti Villa Alvīne.
Linards holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rīga Stradiņš University. In addition to his native Latvian, he is fluent in English and Russian.
