Marek Petruš is a Client Partner and the Global Head of Family Business Practice Group at Pedersen & Partners.
With a decade of experience in C-level Executive Search, Mr. Petruš has established a strong track record of placing top executives across industries in the Czech Republic, Central Europe, and globally. He has partnered with numerous family-owned and owner-managed companies to expand and strengthen their domestic and international leadership teams, securing high-impact executives who drive growth and transformation.
Earlier in his executive career, Mr. Petruš served as Director of Communications and later as Chancellor and Executive Director of the General Secretariat of the Czech National Bank, responsible for organizing and coordinating Bank Board proceedings as well as the Bank's external and stakeholder relations. He began his career as a reporter and correspondent for global media outlets, including Dow Jones, The Wall Street Journal, and Reuters.
Mr. Petruš holds an MA degree in Mass Communications and Journalism from Charles University in Prague. In addition to his native Czech, he is fluent in English and speaks basic German.
