Margarita Hernández is a Client Partner and the Country Manager for Portugal at Pedersen & Partners, and also oversees Executive Search engagements across multiple industries in Angola. Margarita joined Pedersen & Partners in 2015 after nearly 20 years of consulting experience leading various projects in Europe and Africa, with emphasis on executive assessment, senior management coaching, and management consulting. A recognised advisor and executive leader, Margarita has worked with large and medium-sized companies included in the Fortune Global 500 & 100, covering organisational and human capital management consulting, with in-depth knowledge of international transformation projects, including human capital management and executive development and coaching projects. Since Margarita took on the role of Country Manager for Portugal, she has gained extensive experience in Executive Search, focusing on C-level positions in mature and emerging markets, primarily in the Professional Services, Industrial, Retail, and Consumer Goods areas and developing a strong relationship with top Portuguese companies with an international presence.
Margarita completed the Dynamic Capabilities and Management Competencies programs at the Catholic University of Lisbon and has a degree in Organisation and Business Management from the Valladolid University in Spain. She speaks native Spanish, fluent Portuguese and English, and can communicate in French.
