Reza Ghazali is a Client Partner, Head of Asia Pacific, Head of Board Services – ASEAN at Pedersen & Partners. Based in Malaysia, Mr. Ghazali brings 25+ years of experience in Executive Search, Leadership Assessment, and Business Consulting to multinationals and conglomerates, with a focus on Government Linked Companies (GLC) across various industry sectors, such as Technology, Industrial, Financial Services, and Professional Advisory. Prior to joining Pedersen & Partners, he was the Office Managing Director for a leading international Executive Search firm in Malaysia, and previously was with Accenture as a Senior Consultant in the Change Management and Strategic Services Practices. These mandates enabled him to gain experience in strategic change management, business process re-engineering, project management, business and technology consulting, organisation restructuring, and training.
In early 2005, Mr. Ghazali was made Independent Non-Executive Director for a then Mesdaq-listed IT services company. He was recently made INED for the exclusive hotel chain of Shangri-La Malaysia Berhad. He is a member of the exclusive Corporate Malaysia Roundtable and KL Business Club. In October 2012 he was given the rank of Major by the King of Malaysia in Malaysian Reserve Army. Reza's 30+ years of professional experience working in Hospitality, Human Capital, Business Consulting and Executive Search/Leadership & Talent Management have made him a true client centric professional. His experience dealing with corporates at board and senior management level has allowed him to understand complex business, industry, and functional issues to build confidence and trust to assist clients in transformational, growth or at steady state stages.
\Mr. Reza received his early education in Switzerland, earning a double Diploma from the Hotel Management School, Bluche-Sur-Sierre. He also holds a B.A. in Economics from Northern Illinois University in the United States.
