First meeting of MBI & MBO Club jointly organized by Enterprise Investors and Pedersen & Partners in Croatia
Zagreb, Croatia - The first MBI & MBO Club meeting was held on September 13th, 2012 in Zagreb, Croatia sponsored jointly by Enterprise Investors and Pedersen and Partners.
The club focuses on the challenges and issues facing ambitious managers who would like to become or already are company owners, through a management buyin (MBI) or management buyout (MBO). The club operates as an informal network of top business managers from the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and a forum for the identification of new opportunities, exchanging ideas and developing contacts.
The event's topic was related to the questions of investing in CEE in the times of recession, cost-cutting vs. expansion, how can corporate governance and human resources increase the value of the business and how a successful cooperation between entrepreneurs and private investment funds can be achieved. The panel was led by:
