Pedersen & Partners opens offices in South Africa and Armenia

Johannesburg, Yerevan - Pedersen & Partners, a leading international executive search firm, announces the opening of its offices in Johannesburg, South Africa and Yerevan, Armenia.

Michael Al-Nassir, Partner in charge of Middle East and Africa comments: “South Africa is a natural step in our Middle East & Africa expansion strategy and serves as a gateway for providing management recruitment services to our clients in and throughout sub-Saharan Africa.”

Igor Kabuzenko, Senior Consultant, stated on the new Yerevan office that: “After the opening of the Baku office in 2006 and the Tbilisi office in 2007 we have now, with the opening of the Yerevan office, completed Pedersen & Partners’ coverage of the Caucasus. This is our tenth office in CIS, providing our clients with unmatched service and understanding of the CIS markets.”

The Country Manager, South Africa is Amien Nanabhay. Nanabhay brings over 10 years of management experience in sub-Saharan Africa. Most recently, he was the General Manager for Strategy and Business Development of a large chemical company, prior to which he was the Managing Director of a strategic business consulting organisation in Johannesburg, South Africa. He has worked with many multi-national companies on effective BEE transformational assignments. Nanabhay holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and Operational Research from the University of Paisley in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Country Manager, Armenia is Vahagn Andreasyan. Andreasyan has eleven years of management experience in the financial and industrial sectors. Before joining Pedersen & Partners, he was the General Director and Board Member of one of the largest Armenian manufacturing companies specializing in the production of leuco-sapphire items, and before that, was the COO of a Belgian diamond cutting and trading company in Yerevan, Armenia. Andreasyan has a degree in Finance and Credit from Yerevan State University of Economics and an MBA from Webster Graduate Studies University at Regent’s College in London, UK.
