"With the situation in the Ukraine, I would like to share Pedersen & Partners’ view on this matter, as well as the actions that we are taking as a result.

On behalf of everyone at the firm, I would like to extend our support for Ukraine during these devastating times. As a firm, we stand alongside the people of Ukraine. We strongly condemn the war in Ukraine and the humanitarian crisis that it has caused. The continuing escalation of the situation is unacceptable, and we hope for a quick resolution to the war and an immediate end to the immense suffering that it has caused.  

With regards to our operations in Russia, we have suspended our business operations in Russia due to the war, effective immediately. We will continue monitoring the situation closely.  

Furthermore, our Belarus business has been closed and our local subsidiary liquidated.

The firm is closely monitoring developments so that we can devise additional contingency plans accordingly, while at the same time minimising disruption to serving the ongoing needs of our clients and fulfilling our commitments towards them. As a result, Pedersen & Partners will be guided by and adhere to any sanctions imposed by international bodies and governments, so that we are fully compliant with the international legal approach.

The bottom line is that we need to stand with everyone in Ukraine and with each other, as well as remain steadfast in our condemnation of the war in Ukraine. Our thoughts go out to everyone affected."
