The DBC in the Slovak Republic was initially founded as the Danish Chamber of Commerce in the Slovak Republic 1997 by a small group of Danes living and working in Slovakia. The mission of the DBC is to connect Danes settling in the Slovak Republic and Slovaks with interest in Danes and in Denmark through the Club’s activities, web forums and newsletter. Pedersen & Partners' office in Slovakia was established in 2003 in Bratislava. Sune Christiansen heads Pedersen & Partners' business in Slovakia, where he has lived for the past 11 years. He speaks native Danish, fluent English and German and can communicate in Slovak.
In his capacity as the President of the Danish Club, Christiansen will promote closer business ties between Slovak and Danish companies and provide assistance to companies seeking advice and guidance with management and business issues both in Slovakia and Denmark.
