Talent and Technology: one future, different realities

Lisbon, Portugal - Pedersen & Partners team in Portugal held Breakfast Talent and Technology in Lisbon office. Margarita Hernandez, Country Manager for Portugal, Carla Gouveia, Client Partner and Puri Paniagua, Client Partner joined 10 HR Directors for breakfast to talk about Talent and Technology.

The topics of debate were the impact of technology on talent, relevant technological changes that companies are going through, how digital transformation is being faced, and the impact of changing consumer habits and social relations.

During the breakfast it became clear that the companies present were at different developmental stages in this digital age. Nevertheless, even the managers of non-tech businesses agreed that they plan for a progressive digitalisation, and even if the speed of implementing innovations is not the same as in the technology-driven companies, the direction of evolution is the same.  One of the common conclusions was that one of the main difficulties consists in finding digital professionals who understand not only technology, but the business as a whole.
