Mr. McHugh is an accomplished senior executive with over two decades of management experience in Europe, Asia Pacific, Latin and North America, working for top-tier, globally recognised Consumer Products companies such as Bacardi and Philip Morris International. Over the course of his career, Mr. McHugh has developed and executed targeted business initiatives for both these companies, while holding numerous C-suite roles including Marketing, Sales, Key Accounts and Trade Marketing, and has also held several Managing Director positions in multiple countries within the Asia Pacific region. Throughout his career, Mr. McHugh has driven customer growth and enhanced bottom-line profits through leadership, strategy and brand stewardship initiatives, and has a proven track record of driving business growth. Prior to joining Pedersen & Partners, Mr. McHugh worked at Bacardi Asia Pacific as the Managing Director in charge of developing the company’s presence in Greater China. During his tenure he successfully increased revenue, improved profitability and rebuilt the company’s reputation in the region as a business and an employer brand.

Mr. McHugh has extensive experience in developed and emerging markets, which has given him a wealth of knowledge of what is required to enhance business performance and build effective teams in these complex environments.
