Recruiting for Agility that delivers business results

Prague, Czech Republic – The Pedersen & Partners Prague team welcomed HR directors and talent management experts from leading Czech businesses to a Recruiting for Agility event. Participants included executives from the financial services and payment solutions industries, who gathered to discuss and highlight the strategies and tactics aimed at recruiting agile leaders who drive corporate performance. The event was hosted by Lean-Agile Enterprise Management & Critical Initiatives Execution (R&D) expert Vanya Atanasova, of Broadcom Inc. Vanya has a diverse Lean-Agile management experience which spans across seven major industries and extends through portfolio, program and team level. For the Recruiting for Agility event, she delivered a highly informative interactive presentation on her experience in recruiting for agility in a way that delivers business results.

At the event, participants identified the steps required to assess whether an organisation is agile-ready, and the types of agility on the market. Skills, roles, responsibilities, and KPIs at different levels were reviewed from the perspective of potential hiring, together with approaches to spotting and busting organisational silos. Another major topic was the identification of red flags during the interview phase, and the development of the “new generation” of leaders. The discussion was supplemented with real life examples and case studies.

This event was a part of an HR Leadership series, which will be held on a regular basis.

Monika Kubickova, Client Partner, Head of Financial Services CEE

Ms. Kubickova brings an extensive Executive Search experience with a strong track record in banking and finance searches across the CEE region. Prior to her career in Executive Search, she was the Business Development Director at US Business School and before that, the Business Development Manager at Clifford Chance, a London-based international law firm. She began her career at ING Bank as a Junior Lawyer. Ms. Kubickova holds an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree from Prague University of Economics. She has also studied International Business Law at the University of Limerick in Ireland. She speaks fluent English, Czech and Italian.

Petra Grabmayer, Partner, Country Manager Czech Republic
